Private lessons in Plano ISD generally occur once a week at a regularly scheduled
time. The scheduled time is usually during the band class period, during tutorial
time, before school, or after school, on a school campus. The content of
lessons is always about percussion, and the purpose is to make that individual
percussionist into the absolute best that he or she can be.
Fee per
25-minute lesson on campus: $17 (NOTE: NEW FEE as
mandated by Plano ISD)
House Calls
are rare, and they are lessons at the house of the student for $25 per 30
minutes.
The Billing Statement will come monthly, in the form of an email or snail mail (with a
stamp), usually between the 1st and 5th of the month. You will be billed
after the month. However, students new to my studio should expect to pay
in advance for their first four lessons at their first lesson: $68.
Checks
(or cash) for lesson fees are due on the tenth of every month, and they should
be made out to ÒAmy Reddoch.Ó I
prefer the checks to be mailed to me, but it is perfectly acceptable for reliable
students to deliver their payments in person.
Cancellation Policy: If you should know ahead of time that you cannot make it to
a scheduled lesson, please text-message or e-mail me 24 hours in advance and
let me know. If you do not make it to a lesson without advance notice of
cancellation for reasons other than illness or comparable reasons, you are
still charged for that lesson. If you decide to permanently stop lessons,
please do so at the end of a complete semester.
Paying in Advance is certainly acceptable. If you choose to do that, I will
keep track and give you a summary statement of lessons paid for at the end of
semesters, or at any time you should ask for it. If you do this, the paid amount ought be in a multiple of $17.
